Cry Club's New Single "Two Hearts" is out now
Wollongong-via-Melbourne two-piece Cry Club are back with their third single ‘Two Hearts.’ Guitarist Jonathon Tooke summarises: “‘Two Hearts’ is the closest thing we’ve got to a love song – well, complicated, sucky love.” Co-written between vocalist Heather Riley and Tooke, ‘Two Hearts’ lyricism contain dual intentions.
Just like its predecessor, the consent anthem ‘DFTM’, this track was produced by Gab Strum. “He could see all the missing pieces of this sparkly pop puzzle,” says Riley of their collaborative effort. “I think every song we have is always going to sit in a different part of the pop to noise spectrum, so finding out how to thread that as a production is always a fun challenge,” adds Tooke.
