Night Tales release AIME-collaboration video for "Friends"
Australian electronic duo Night Tales have delivered an inspired house single titled “Friends” in collaboration with the global charity, AIME, a mentorship program for children of all ages. The song’s music video features a young man from AIME named Lewis as he dances around his childhood neighborhood with his friend and mentor, Tre.
Shot by Jilvan.M and directed by Marcel Bingham, it’s a fittingly beautiful visual for a song “dedicated to the unsung heroes we have in our lives. Those friends who go above and beyond to pick you up when you’re not feeling your strongest. Friends who are by your side without question or hesitation and help you navigate your way out of dark times, feeling alone & in isolation.”
Composed of artists Kamaliza (Australian-born Kamaliza Salamba, formerly of Olympic Ayres) and Third Floor (UK-born/Aussie-based Aaron Bannie), Night Tales have crafted an intricate sound with an emphasis on vivid lyricism and infectious grooves. Supported by the YouTube mainstay Majestic Casual, featured on Martin Garrix’s official Spotify playlist, spun on BBC Radio, streamed over a million times, and risen to #1 on the HypeM popular chart, they’ve rapidly resonated with listeners and tastemakers alike.
